The Lessius Research Fund (Lessius Onderzoeksfonds – LOF) has been created to increase the research output of Lessius University College. The LOF makes available postdoctoral fellowships to highly qualified candidates who want to do research in one or more of the priority research domains of the College in colloboration with the integrated faculties of K.U.Leuven.
NEW - LOF FELLOWSHIP IN THE FIELD OF APPLIED LANGUAGE STUDIES - DEADLINE 09.10.11
From September 1, 2011 onwards a new LOF fellowship in the field of Applied Language Studies is open to researchers who have recently obtained their PhD. The position is open for three years and will be filled on November 15, 2011 at the earliest.
The LOF fellow will be paid at the level of doctor-assistant and according to seniority.
Procedure
Candidates submit an application form, comprising the following sections:
- general information
- a Curriculum Vitae
- a list of publications according to the guidelines
- a research proposal in alignment with the priority research domains of the College (translation studies , terminology en and translation technology, discourse studies, journalism studies).

Applicants are also required to present their project proposal to two referees who will fill in this form and send it, before October 9, 2011 directly to dr.
