We are two sisters and live in a flat in the centre of Antwerp. We are both going on Erasmus for one semester and we would like to rent a very cosy flat on the third floor, only 5 minutes (walking distance) from the Lessius University College!

Living room with 3 sofas; a small kitchen with a big furnace, oven, fridge and a small table; 2 bedrooms, each with a large desk, wardrobe and a bookshelf. One bedroom is connected to the living room and has a single bed, the other bedroom has a double bed. There is a small bathroom connected to the second bedroom.

I would recommend to share the flat with a friend or someone you know because the bedrooms and the bathroom are connected to each other and don't give a lot of privacy.

My student room: kitchen with electric hot plate, built-in fridge with freezing-compartment, cupboard and dining table. Next to the kitchen is a roomy living room with bookshelves and a sofa. Each student has its own letterbox and doorbell with intercom. There also is a bike shed. TV-distribution and telenet cable internet are included in the price. At walking distance from Lessius (campus St-Andries, 3 minutes), the Groenplaats and the centre of Antwerp. There is also a launderette/laundromat down the road.

For rent: completely renovated room in an old nunnery. There are in total 5 rooms, so it's not too noisy, but not lonely either. You can look into a beautiful garden from my room and there is a cosy patio, where you can have a barbecue in the summer.

Shower + toilet for the 5 rooms, but the cleaning lady comes regularly. Spacious kitchen with television and sofa. Microwave, oven, cooker, a large dining table, all the necessary kitchen appliances, so you do not need to bring dinner plates etc.

My room is about 20 m² and fully furnished (bed, sink, mirror, desk, wardrobe, 3 cupboards, bedside table, heating), 2 large windows (double glazing) with roll-down shutters, so there is enough light during the day, but it’s dark at night. Internet access and a bike park.

My room is at walking distance from the central station and the school is very easy to reach by tram.

If you like personal contact, this is a very fun place to be. Since there are only 5 rooms, you get to know everyone very well and there isn’t too much noise at night.

My studio is situated in the center of Antwerp and is very close (100m) to the Lessius Hogeschool. 5 minute-walk to the ‘Groenplaats’ and the main shopping street ‘de Meir’. You can also take a tram / subway there to the central station, … Supermarkets you can find everywhere in the close neighbourhood. At the end of my street is a small basketball-field and a cosy bar/bistro. The Scheldt is only a little bit further.

Room on the ground floor. I have a big kitchen with a table and 3 chairs. It is fully equipped: microwave, fridge, gas cooker, cooking stuff,… In the other room: bed, closets, big desk. I have a big window, so there is always sunlight in the room. There is 1 other student flat next to mine and the owner/ landlady lives in the apartment above mine.

No internet connection in my studio, but it shouldn’t be a problem because at Lessius we have everywhere free access to internet.
